Job role

The business analyst will play a key role in analyzing, documenting, and improving clients’ business processes to support successful project delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and hands-on experience in business process modeling, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing. The business analyst will act as a bridge between clients and internal project teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with approved business requirements.

Core responsibilities

  1. Business process analysis & improvement
    Evaluate clients’ existing business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
    Conduct detailed process assessments in line with business process management (BPM) methodologies.
    Recommend process reengineering initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and align with best practices.
    Develop clear and comprehensive as-is and to-be process documentation.
  2. Requirements elicitation & documentation
    Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders through interviews, workshops, surveys, and observation.
    Translate business needs into detailed business requirement documents (BRDs).
    Prepare business process models, workflow diagrams, mockups, and user interface (UI) specifications.
    Ensure all requirements are clear, complete, and aligned with project objectives.
  3. Client communication & approval management
    Present business requirements, process flows, and UI mockups to clients for review and validation.
    Obtain formal, written approval on all requirement documentation before moving into development.
    Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Project coordination & internal collaboration
    Work closely with project managers, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate understanding of requirements.
    Provide continuous clarification and support to the project team during the implementation phase.
    Participate in internal review meetings to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
  5. Implementation follow-up & quality assurance
    Monitor project progress to ensure implementation aligns with the approved business requirements.
    Identify deviations or risks early and coordinate corrective actions with the project team.
    Support the QA team by validating that developed features meet documented requirements.
  6. User acceptance testing (UAT)
    Prepare comprehensive UAT plans, test cases, and test scripts based on approved requirements.
    Coordinate UAT sessions with clients and internal teams.
    Document test results, track issues, and ensure all defects are resolved prior to go-live.
    Obtain final client approval before project deployment.

Qualifications, experience and skills

Educational and professional qualifications
Bachelor in computer science or computer engineering, or a related field is required.

Experience
3-6 years in developing DFD, WFD and cross functional diagram technical/business writing.
CBAP certification.
PBA, BCS certifications are preferred.

Language requirements
Arabic (written and spoken): essential.
English (written and spoken): essential.
