Duties and Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain scalable dbt data transformation pipelines in Snowflake
- Monitor scheduled dbt, Tableau, and other application runs to ensure timely data availability throughout the Star Pipe environment
- Follow and maintain data governance standards, including naming conventions, version control (via Git), and CI/CD practices for dbt projects
- Convert raw, unstructured data into clean, structured datasets to drive advanced analytical insights and informed decision-making
- Drive data driven initiatives to improve efficiencies and business intelligence across the company
Knowledge / Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work across teams and collaborate between developers and end users
- Hands-on, working knowledge with SQL in a data analysis capacity
- Experience with Tableau or a similar data visualization tool
- Working knowledge of Git/GitHub
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with dbt or Snowflake is a plus
Education / Experience:
- 0-3 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
