Job Description:
TD Direct Investing provides self-directed investors with access to the tools, resources, education, and support to confidently manage their wealth. Clients can access TD Direct Investing services through a variety of channels, including our industry-leading online and mobile platforms, licensed representatives available by phone Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET, and support at TD branches across Canada.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, DI Education Delivery & Strategic Initiatives, the Analyst, Strategic Initiatives will support the planning, coordination, execution, and measurement of strategic initiatives across HNW Franchising & Support, Community Activations, Client Education Delivery, and other assigned business priorities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
CUSTOMER
- Provide research, evaluation, operational, reporting, and analytical support in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain business metrics, performance reporting, scorecards, and business insights to support decision-making.
- Conduct ongoing analysis, evaluation, and review of business performance, processes, and strategic initiatives.
- Support the development of presentations, communications, and executive reporting.
- Coordinate meetings, working groups, events, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Support strategic initiatives that deepen HNW client relationships, strengthen franchise performance, and improve business outcomes.
- Support community activation and financial literacy initiatives through event coordination, vendor management, budget tracking, and post-event reporting.
- Analyze program and business performance data, including workshop attendance, financial literacy session results, community activation outcomes, and stakeholder feedback, to identify trends, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Translate data and performance metrics into meaningful stories, recommendations, and executive-ready reporting that informs strategy, demonstrates impact, and supports future planning.
- Partner with stakeholders across Wealth, Direct Investing, Marketing, Analytics, Risk, Compliance, and other business groups to support initiative execution.
SHAREHOLDER
- Support the HNW performance ecosystem through reporting, scorecards, business insights, governance activities, controls management, and performance monitoring.
- Contribute to operational activities including reporting, process documentation, tracking, analysis, onboarding, invoice processing, and procedural support.
- Support governance, compliance, and risk management activities, including the maintenance of operating procedures, controls, and management handbooks.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Remain informed of emerging issues, industry trends, and business developments.
- Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies related to business management activities.

- Provide specialized analysis, non-standard reporting, scorecard support, and operational support.
- Support strategic initiatives across HNW Franchising & Support and Community Activations.
- Provide guidance and assistance to internal partners on a broad range of business processes.
- Independently deliver assigned initiatives with direction from management.
- Carry out work with moderate complexity requiring short- to medium-term focus.
- Flexibility to travel and support community events, activations, educational engagements, and business meetings as required.
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends to support activations, events, and business initiatives.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Undergraduate degree.
- 2-3 years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations and compelling business narratives.
- Experience preparing reporting, business insights, and presentations that support strategic decision-making is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Wealth Management, Direct Investing, community engagement, or financial services is considered an asset.
