Business Analyst

Here’s a glimpse of your responsibilities:

• Project Management – Manage the portfolio of ESO IT and business transformation projects, covering prioritisation, planning, stakeholder alignment, risk management, budgeting and successful delivery
• Process Analysis – Identify opportunities for process standardisation, automation and digitalisation to enable scalable business growth
• Requirements Gathering – Develop functional requirements and specifications by translating the commercial and technical needs of business programmes
• Solution Design – Act as the business representative towards IT and Business Systems teams, ensuring solutions meet both current and future business requirements
• Commercial Management – Drive commercial initiatives including supplier management, contract negotiations, pricing and programme tracking
• Business Liaison – Serve as the key day-to-day link between ESO and operational IT and Business Systems teams
• After-Sales Operations – Support commercial and operational after-sales objectives by identifying and implementing opportunities for operational improvement

• Project management: Proven ability to manage projects and programmes and deliver measurable results
• Analytical mindset: Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
• Commercial awareness: Able to assess business impact and develop clear, well-founded business cases
• Business analysis: Skilled at translating business needs into clear requirements and specifications for technical teams
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Collaboration: Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across different departments
• Adaptability: Comfortable managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines
• IT collaboration: Experience working with Business Systems or IT teams
• Languages: Fluent in business English; additional languages are an advantage
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
