Business Analyst (Transformation & ERP & SIS Implementation)

Language Disorder Australia is seeking a Business Analyst on a contract engagement to support our ERP and SIS transformation.

About the Opportunity

  • Language Disorder Australia is undertaking an organisation-wide systems and process transformation program, implementing a new ERP platform and SIS (school information system) and modernising the way we work across operations, finance, people and culture, commercial functions and projects.

  • Reporting to the Programme Manager within the PMO, this highly visible role will support system implementation, process improvement and organisational change initiatives.

  • Initial contract term of 12 months with potential for extension and/or permanent opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements across corporate functions.

  • Map current and future state business processes and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder consultations.

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications.

  • Support ERP implementation, testing, go-live readiness and post-implementation activities.

  • Develop business cases, reporting, governance documentation and project artefacts.

  • Produce policies, procedures, user guides and training materials.

  • Support implementation of Power Platform, automation and AI-enabled solutions.

About You

  • You may currently be working as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Business Improvement Analyst, PMO Analyst, HR Systems Analyst, Workforce Planning Analyst or Systems Analyst.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 2-5 years experience in business analysis, process improvement, systems implementation or ERP-related projects.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills.

  • Experience documenting business processes, workflows and business requirements.

  • Business process mapping and modelling capability.

  • Strong communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience supporting testing, training and change adoption activities.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.

Highly Regarded

  • ERP implementation experience including finance, operations, HRIS or workforce management systems.

  • SIS implementation in education

  • Microsoft Dynamics exposure.

  • Power BI, SharePoint and Microsoft 365 experience.

  • Experience using AI and automation tools.

  • Education, disability, therapy or community services experience.
