About the project

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our client's Treasury Intraday Liquidity team.

This is a role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business, data and technology. You will work closely with Treasury stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into solutions together with technical teams.

The project focuses on developing real-time data streams, dashboards and analytics that support monitoring of liquidity positions and funding needs.

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document requirements.

  • Understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.

  • Analyse and improve existing business processes.

  • Work with complex data flows, data dependencies and reconciliation.

  • Support the development of real-time data streams, dashboards and analytics.

  • Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, process flows and other documentation.

  • Work closely with IT and technical teams on solution design.

  • Support UAT, testing and validation activities.

  • Identify risks and assess the impact of proposed changes.

  • Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.

  • Support project planning and delivery in an Agile or Waterfall environment.

  • Promote continuous improvement and best practices.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of relevant Business Analysis / Requirements Analysis experience — we can be flexible for a particularly strong profile.

  • Previous experience in banking.

  • Strong experience in requirements gathering and business analysis.

  • Excellent process analysis and redesign skills.

  • Strong data analysis and interpretation capabilities.

  • Experience working between business and IT on solution design.

  • Solid understanding of complex data flows and data reconciliation.

  • Experience with testing and UAT.

  • Experience with risk assessment and impact analysis.

  • Strong documentation and process modelling skills.

  • Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and take ownership.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Treasury, Liquidity Management or Intraday Liquidity.

  • Background in Front Office / Financial Markets / Trad
