Business Analyst
Summary
TripADeal is hiring a Business Analyst at its Byron Bay HQ or Varsity Lakes office to own digital initiatives end to end: leading workshops, managing the sprint backlog, bridging business and tech teams, and running UAT for go-lives. Requires 5+ years as a BA on Agile digital projects; Salesforce/CMS experience is highly regarded.

The Opportunity
You will be responsible for the end-to-end success of assigned digital initiatives and complex products. We are looking for a logical, systematic thinker who can navigate the ambiguity of large-scale digital projects, translate high-level business features into technical excellence, and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Organisational Structure
As a Business Analyst, you will operate as a high-impact individual contributor at the heart of our cross-functional ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Delivery Manager, you will serve as a vital bridge between our technical teams and business operations.
This permanent full-time position is based from our Byron Bay HeadQuarters or Varsity Lakes Gold Coast office (with a minimum 1 day a week in our Byron Office for team collaboration).
A Day in the Life
- Lead high-impact workshops and interviews, using advanced business process modelling to design solutions that meet long-term business goals
- Take full accountability for prioritising and maintaining the sprint backlog, balancing complex stakeholder needs with technical constraints.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships across Marketing, IT, and Product teams to drive alignment.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and develop user guides and communications to assist end-users for go-live.
- Develop project plans and contribute to status meetings and business readiness refinement.
- Act as the primary "voice" between design, tech, and the business, inspiring alignment and building high-trust relationships with internal teams like Marketing, IT, and Operations
To be a Front Running Candidate
- Minimum 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within the digital space and Agile projects.
- Strong logical thinker with the ability to bridge business needs and technical constraints quickly. Experience with CMS platforms (Salesforce preferred) is highly regarded.
- Proven expertise in backlog management, user story creation, UAT coordination, and end-to-end delivery management.
- Exceptional communication skills with a track record of building trust across cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, IT, Operations).
- Highly organised, comfortable managing multiple tasks, and proactive in driving work forward amidst ambiguity.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Qantas background check
