Business Analyst with marketing expertise (f/m/x)

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with marketing experience to join our team. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of enterprise technology, data architecture, and agile product management, contributing to the Elevate Programme. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to translate high-level requirements into structured user stories and technical specifications, while also supporting the rollout of our new Mobile Messaging tech stack. This position is remote, allowing you to work flexibly from anywhere in Poland.

Your tasks

  • Conducting requirements engineering and managing the backlog by breaking down high-level feature goals into detailed technical user stories and actionable development requirements

  • Collaborating with the Product Owner to co-groom and refine the team backlog, drafting robust acceptance criteria and user scenarios

  • Acting as a Proxy Product Owner for specific technical domains to ensure efficient development team operations

  • Mapping system workflows, data models, and API logic to facilitate seamless integration across the technical stack

  • Working closely with System Architects and external vendors to conduct technical assessments and define solutions

  • Serving as the immediate technical resource for the development team, answering complex functional and technical questions

  • Supporting sprint execution by assisting the Scrum Master and Product Owner during planning, daily standups, and retrospectives

  • Writing clear acceptance criteria and testing scenarios, and driving User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure software quality

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Consultant within marketing area

  • Familiarity with social media and mobile messaging technologies, as well as CRM, omnichannel marketing, and marketing automation

  • Strong understanding of user stories and experience in backlog management

  • Proven experience in a technical environment, collaborating with Solution/System Architects

  • Practical knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies, such as Scrum and SAFe

  • Experience with diagramming, mockup, and UI design tools

  • Ability to quickly onboard onto new business domains and collaborate effectively with various teams

  • Fluent English and Polish
