Business Analyst leading requirements for ERP (D365 F&O), Salesforce, and lending platform transformations, ensuring regulatory compliance and collaborating with offshore teams.
About the role
As a Business Analyst, you will work across major technology initiatives, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, solutions are validated, and change is delivered effectively. Acting as a key link between business and technology teams, you will support governance, testing, and continuous improvement across a complex transformation portfolio.
Key responsibilities
Business Analysis & Delivery
Lead end-to-end requirements activities across ERP (D365 F&O), Salesforce and lending platforms (LOS/LMS).
Produce high-quality artefacts including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps (BPMN), data mappings and RTMs.
Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with cross-functional stakeholders including Credit, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Insurance, Sales and Operations.
Conduct gap analysis, define functional and non-functional requirements, and support solution design.
Support QA and UAT activities including test planning, defect triage and business sign-off.
Program & Change Governance
Partner with Project Managers to manage scope, delivery risks and dependencies.
Maintain requirements backlogs and support Agile delivery where applicable.
Support vendor engagements including SOWs and acceptance criteria.
Contribute to change governance, prioritisation and benefits realisation tracking.
Platforms & Transformation Initiatives
ERP Replacement – support finance process design, integrations, master data governance and cutover planning.
Salesforce Programs – capture requirements across Sales, Service and Experience Cloud and support integration with core platforms.
Loan Origination & Management Systems – document requirements across credit decisioning, underwriting, KYC/AML, servicing and regulatory reporting.
Data, Integration & Compliance
Document integration requirements (APIs, batch processes and data flows).
Capture non-functional requirements including security, privacy, performance and scalability.
Ensure alignment with Australian regulatory frameworks (Privacy Act, AML/CTF) and US financial services cyber expectations (NIST, SOC2, GLBA, FFIEC).
Working with Offshore Teams
Collaborate with offshore development teams in India delivering bespoke systems
Provide clear specifications and coordinate design reviews, testing and release readiness across time zones.
What You Bring
5–8+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
Experience supporting large technology transformation programs.
Exposure to ERP, Salesforce or lending platforms.
Experience working with offshore technology teams.
Strong skills in requirements documentation, process modelling (BPMN) and stakeholder engagement.
Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Systems or similar (IIBA certification advantageous).
