Business and Operations Manager (Procurement and Cost Control)

About the role

At Gi Group we are looking for a Business and Operations Manager (focus on Purchasing and Cost Control) - RIBERA ALTA/BAIXA (VALENCIA) for a growing company with a transversal structure and direct contact with Management.

We are looking for a person who is very hands-on, with the ability to negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors, control costs and margins in detail and coordinate the day-to-day between areas so that projects advance from start to finish.

This position is NOT pure sales nor an expansion/opening role. It is a transversal role that connects operations + profitability.

What you'll do

• Purchasing and negotiation with suppliers/subcontractors: cost analysis, negotiation, and improvement of conditions with a real impact on margin.
• Rigorous control of costs and deviations: monitoring by line item/budget, profitability control, and corrective actions.
• End-to-end project coordination: from sale to execution, invoicing, collection, legalization, and closing.
• Resolution of interdepartmental operational incidents (Sales, Production/Engineering, Administration, Purchasing, Back Office).
• Definition and monitoring of KPIs / dashboards and reporting to Management.
• Driving process improvement and professionalization of operations (ERP/CRM).

We are looking for someone with...

• Experience in purchasing/procurement and negotiation (ideally if you can demonstrate savings or margin improvements).
• Experience in cost control / operational controlling (budgets, deviations, profitability).
• Real capacity for transversal coordination and resolution of day-to-day problems.
• Valuable: environments in engineering, installations, construction, technical services, or EPC.

Conditions

• Location: Ribera Alta/Baixa (Valencia)
• Schedule: 07:00 to 15:00.
• Permanent contract.
• Fixed salary around €35,000 + variable (depending on experience).
