Business Applications Developer
Summary
An internal developer role owning Hallam-ICS's in-house business applications and SQL reports, blending hands-on development with business analysis alongside end users. Core stack is SQL Server (SSRS/SSIS), C#/.NET, and Power Platform, with a growing share of an ERP migration over two years.
Overall Activities: We currently have an opening for a Business Applications Developer in our South Burlington VT office to take ownership of our small but growing portfolio of internal business applications and SQL reports. This role combines hands-on development with business analysis: sitting down with the people who use a system, understanding what the business actually needs, and then building, fixing, or improving the solution yourself. Over the next two years, the role will also take on a defined share of our ERP system migration, becoming the in-house functional and technical owner of that system and of company reporting as it stabilizes.

Qualifications:
- Friendly, flexible, and organized with a “can-do” attitude and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work well with many different types of individuals - in person and remote.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS
- Intermediate knowledge of C# and .net development
- Experience with Power Platform including Power Apps, Flow, and PowerBI
