Rate: £700 Per Day Inside IR35

We need an experienced Business Architect to support a major transformation in MSS business, with data at the centre. This is a delivery role. We're not looking for someone whose main output is architecture documents, capability maps or theoretical target operating models. We need someone who can take a complex, unclear business problem, work out what's really needed, break it into pieces that can be delivered, and create the business blueprint that helps technology teams build the right solution.

• Get to the root business problem, not just the initial stakeholder request.

• Break down complex challenges into clear, deliverable components.

• Define the target operating model and future-state business architecture.

• Create business blueprints that outline how solutions should operate.

• Partner with Technology Architects to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

• Shape solution design from a business and user perspective.

• Prioritise and sequence capabilities, processes, data, and functionality.

• Design end-to-end business workflows, including triggers, ownership, and outcomes.

• Map data flows across the Markets business, from source to consumption.

• Identify dependencies across processes, people, data, and technology.

• Structure solutions into modular components for phased delivery.

• Communicate complex transformation and architecture concepts to stakeholders at all levels.

• Bridge business and technology teams to ensure alignment on outcomes.

• Challenge requirements and solutions to ensure they address the real business need.

• Maintain alignment between requirements, processes, data, and architecture throughout delivery.

• Work closely with Product, Delivery, and Engineering teams to ensure successful implementation.
