With a new multi-year strategic direction established and significant investment in business and digital transformation underway, an experienced Business Architect is required to bring clarity, structure, and alignment across core business operations.

This is a unique opportunity to influence how strategy translates into execution, ensuring business processes, operating models, and digital initiatives are working together to achieve long-term organisational objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Analyse and map end-to-end business capabilities and core operational processes
• Assess current-state processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and alignment
• Develop future-state business architecture aligned to strategic objectives
• Create clear linkages between business strategy, operating models, processes, and digital initiatives
• Partner with executive stakeholders, operational leaders, and technology teams to establish a shared transformation roadmap
• Define business capability models, value streams, and process frameworks
• Provide strategic guidance on business change priorities and sequencing
• Support the delivery of a coherent and actionable future-state operating environment

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Business Architect within large and complex organisations
• Strong capability in business capability modelling, process architecture, and operating model design
• Experience aligning business and digital transformation initiatives to strategic outcomes
• Expertise in process analysis, process optimisation, and business architecture frameworks
• Ability to engage confidently with senior executives and navigate complex stakeholder environments
• Strong facilitation, communication, and strategic thinking skills
• Experience working across enterprise transformation, organisational redesign, or digital transformation programmes

Nice to have

• Experience working within public sector or highly regulated environments
• Knowledge of frameworks such as BIZBOK, TOGAF, BPMN, or similar
• Experience developing business architecture artefacts that support investment and transformation decision-making
