The Business Architecture (BA) is a dynamic strategic organization at the forefront of the Citi Transformation efforts. We act as a catalyst across businesses and functions driving the transformation of Citi into a simpler, customer-centric organization. We are responsible for partnering with business lines and functions to establish the framework for and execute the simplification program, which includes developing enterprise-wide domain taxonomies, publishing standard playbooks and procedures, as well as creating process and design engineering models. We also provide the businesses and functions with ongoing governance, program oversight, and metrics and reporting to ensure consistency, control, and accountability as it relates to the program. We partner with the business to develop the frameworks that are the foundations of everything we do.

As part of the BA team, Business Architecture seeks to create and help implement an agreed end-state vision of Citi’s Business Architecture. It uses a process driven approach to define how capabilities are bounded, placed, deployed, shared, connected, and operated to meet business objectives.

Job role: Business Architecture - Governance & Project Management Analyst

Job description:

Establish and execute governance framework for Business Architecture

Responsibilities:

• Establish in-depth knowledge on Business Architecture (BA) and Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology (CEAM) to understand how they integrate and contribute to Citi’s transformation and CEAM objectives.
• Work closely with Citi Businesses and function team to socialize, provide support, and drive adoption of CEAM and a process-oriented approach.
• Provide overarching centralized governance over CEAM activities and regulatory commitments across Enterprise Architecture i.e., Consent Order delivery, Change Management, Risk and Issue Tracking, Dependency Tracking.
• Centralized point of contact for senior BA and Enterprise stakeholders in Transformation, Data, E O&T on communications and deliverables related to CEAM.
• Support sustained execution of senior governance and stakeholder meetings at an Enterprise level while working closely to ensure the agenda and material meets the objectives. This includes chartered forums.
• Understand and synthesize strategic direction through meetings and discussions and translate into the delivery of successful results
• Ensure risks/issues are proactively managed and are timely escalated, as appropriate
• Provide credible challenge to Program/Project plans, risks, issues, and change requests.
• Support the creation and execution of Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) for Enterprise Architecture to ensure documentation of the activities, identify risks and associated controls along with appropriate monitoring.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
  
  

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of experience
• Outstanding analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task in an effective and efficient manner.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills while collaborating across large organization.
• Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive professional attitude and capable of managing internal relationships
• Prior experience of supporting large scale program management / governance activities for large scale financial institution is desirable

• Bachelors/Masters / University degree or equivalent experience
