Position Summary
We are looking for a Business Automation & AI System Engineer to drive digital transformation and process optimization across our enterprise. In this role, you will architect, build, and deploy AI-driven software applications, process automation scripts, system integrations, and business intelligence solutions.
You will bridge the gap between AI technology and manufacturing operations, directly impacting efficiency, decision-making, and quality across HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Shop-Floor operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise AI Solutions & Agentic Systems
Design, build, and maintain our enterprise AI platform, including internal AI copilots, assistants, and intelligent document processing tools.
Implement custom Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions that securely utilize company databases.
Evaluate, benchmark, and deploy modern AI framework tools to optimize manufacturing and administrative workflows.
2. Business Automation & Workflow Engineering
Identify, analyze, and automate manual, repetitive processes across cross-functional departments (HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations).
Develop, test, and maintain scripts, webhooks, and microservices to automate data flow between disparate systems.
Ensure all automation workflows are secure, scalable, well-documented, and compliant with IT policies.
3. Manufacturing Systems & Data Integration
Integrate AI models and automated workflows with enterprise systems including ERP, MES, QMS, PLM, WMS, and CRM.
Construct data pipelines (APIs) to support Industry 4.0 initiatives such as machine monitoring, predictive maintenance, and tool wear analytics.
4. Business Intelligence & Reporting
Extract, clean, and consolidate structured and unstructured data from multiple enterprise databases.
Develop interactive BI dashboards, operational KPI reports, and executive analytics to drive data-led decision-making.
Validate data accuracy, completeness, and real-time availability for end-users.
5. Application Governance & Technical Support
Provide higher-level escalation support for internal applications, automated tools, and minor system configurations.
Author clear System Requirement Specifications (SRS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and adhere to IT change management and cybersecurity protocols.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Operational Efficiency: Percentage reduction in manual process processing time and error rates across departments.
AI Adoption: Successful deployment and user utilization rate of internal AI tools and copilots.
System Reliability: Uptime, execution success rate, and data pipeline integrity for automated workflows.
Business Impact: Measurable improvement in shop-floor visibility, reporting turnaround time, and decision-making speed.
Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in software development, AI systems integration, enterprise automation, or digital transformation.
Industry Experience: Direct experience integrating systems within a manufacturing environment (e.g., ERP, MES, QMS, PLM) is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
AI & Machine Learning: Hands‑on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open‑source models), RAG framework architectures, and prompt engineering.
APIs & Databases: Strong experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, SQL database queries, and data extraction pipelines.
BI & Data Visualization: Hands‑on proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or custom frontend reporting dashboards.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical, root‑cause troubleshooting, and critical‑thinking skills.
Excellent cross‑functional communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast‑paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.
