Business Controller

About the role

At MC Headhunting, we are looking for a Business Controller to join a renewable energy company located in the Vallès Occidental area.

What you'll do

Business control:

●Supervise and analyze the business's financial results, including revenue, costs, and margins, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency opportunities.

●Develop and maintain financial reporting systems that provide visibility into business performance and facilitate informed decision-making.

●Margin analysis:

Perform detailed analyses of profit margins by project, product, and customer.

Identify trends and deviations in margins and collaborate with the relevant teams to implement corrective actions or optimization strategies.

Sales analysis:

●Evaluate sales performance, including segmentation by market, region, and customer.

●Develop accurate sales forecasts and work with the sales team to establish realistic and achievable goals.

Conversion by sales channel:

●Analyze the effectiveness of different sales channels in terms of conversion, costs, and profitability.

●Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of sales channels and propose strategies to optimize conversion.

Strategic planning:

●Collaborate in the formulation of short- and long-term financial strategies for the renewable energy business.

●Contribute to the development of annual budgets and financial planning, ensuring they are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

Decision-making support:

●Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions.

●Evaluate renewable energy investment projects and perform financial feasibility analyses.

Financial control:

●Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures in the renewable energy business.

●Monitor financial performance and take corrective measures as necessary to ensure the achievement of established objectives.

What we're looking for

●Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

●Minimum of 5 years of experience in functions similar to those described.

●Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

●Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.

●Result-oriented and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

●Fluent English and Spanish.
