Business Data Analyst – AI Tools & Growth

Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 5,000 per month

Most data analyst jobs mean making the same report every Monday. This one doesn't.

We are a Malaysian healthcare products company. We supply medical, rehab and pet products to clinics and pharmacies across the country, and sell our own brands on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop. Every order, invoice and delivery is already in our own systems, and we already build our own dashboards and tools with AI.

We need a statistician who wants to use that data to decide where the company grows next, and then build the tools that make it happen.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Find growth: which customers, products, areas and sales channels we should push next, proven with numbers before we spend money.

2. Build monitoring tools: dashboards and alerts that catch problems early, such as a clinic that stopped reordering, a product about to run out, or a sales territory falling behind target.

3. Track what works: measure every promotion, campaign and product launch, and tell us honestly whether it made money.

4. Use artificial intelligence (AI) to build: write SQL and Python with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot, and turn an idea into a working tool in days, not months.

5. Work with people: sit with the sales team and management, understand how the business runs, and explain your findings in plain language that leads to a decision.

YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS COULD LOOK LIKE

• A daily list of customers whose buying is dropping, sent to their sales rep every morning

• A forecast of which products will run short next month

• A clear, numbers-backed answer to one growth question from management

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

1. Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Economics or a related field

2. Fresh graduates up to 2 years of experience. Data analyst, research, actuarial or internship experience all count

3. Good with Excel, and comfortable with at least one of SQL, Python or R. Power BI is a plus

4. You have used AI tools to build something real (a script, dashboard, automation or model), not only to write essays

5. Curious about how a business makes money, and not afraid to ask "why"

6. Able to explain numbers clearly in English and Bahasa Malaysia
