Business Data Analyst
Summary
Contract Business Data Analyst supporting a major banking data transformation programme in London (hybrid: 3 days on site, 2 remote). You'll work with SMEs, engineers and architects to map data from source systems into a Common Data Model for reporting, MI and regulatory domains, using SQL, data mapping/ETL and cloud platforms like GCP/BigQuery.

We’re looking for an experienced Business Data Analyst to support a major data transformation programme within banking. You’ll work with business SMEs, engineers and architects to map data from multiple source systems into a Common Data Model (CDM) and onwards to reporting, MI and regulatory domains.
What we’re looking for:
• Strong Business/Data Analysis experience
• Excellent SQL skills
• Strong data mapping, integration or ETL experience
• Financial Services experience – ideally Lending, Savings, Regulatory Reporting, Finance or Risk
• Experience with cloud data platforms – GCP/BigQuery preferred
• Power BI or Tableau experience beneficial
• Data modelling/CDM experience is a bonus
