Business Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

Digital Solution Development and Documentation:

· Independently develop, deploy, and maintain digital solutions using appropriate platforms —Microsoft Power Platform, Smartsheet, and Dataiku (including ETL/data pipelines, machine-learning models, and hosted web applications) — based on stakeholder requirements.

· Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions are effective, reliable, and user-friendly.

· Incorporate user feedback to enhance system functionality and performance.

· Create clear troubleshooting guides, technical documentation, and user documentation to support long-term sustainability and seamless handover.

Solution Support and Troubleshooting:

· Provide ongoing support for the existing portfolio of digital solutions, diagnosing and resolving issues to minimize disruption to site operations.

· Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues and implement sustainable fixes rather than temporary workarounds.

· Maintain and enhance existing solutions as business needs, data sources, and platforms evolve.

Data Analysis and Modeling:

• Perform ad-hoc and exploratory data analyses to address complex business challenges and support strategic initiatives.
• Identify key trends and insights from data to drive data-informed decision-making.
• Perform statistical analysis and build data-science/machine-learning models on manufacturing and process data to derive meaningful insights that guide decision-making.

AI-Enabled Solution Development:

· Explore and apply AI to develop and enhance solutions for stakeholders, including GenAI/LLM-based applications (e.g., assistants and document Q&A) and machine-learning models.

· Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate solution build, testing, and documentation.

Data Management and Governance:

· Partner with relevant cross-functional teams to ensure data analytics solutions align with business objectives and comply with data quality and governance standards.

· Develop standardized processes for maintaining consistent data definitions, sources, and quality.

· Design and optimize extraction processes to consolidate data from multiple source systems.

Communication, Stakeholder Management and Training:

· Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders to gather requirements, align expectations, and present progress updates, findings, and recommendations.

· Deliver training sessions to end users to ensure smooth adoption and usage of digital solutions.

Job Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):

Education:

· A Bachelor’s degree in any field is required.

· Certification in business data analysis, data science, or a related discipline is an advantage.

Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

· Proficiency in data analysis and digital tools including Microsoft Power Platform(PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI), Smartsheet, Dataiku, SQL, and Python is required.

· Experience in developing and delivering digital dashboards, reports, and web applications to enhance operational efficiency is required.

· Familiarity with AI tools and applications — including GenAI/LLM solutions, machine learning, and AI-assisted development — is required.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently to deliver end-to-end solutions for stakeholders is required.

· Strong analytical, data interpretation, and data mining skills are required.

· Demonstrated technical competency and relevant experience in business analytics are required.

· Knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes, GMP, and related IT/OT systems is preferred.

· Project management experience preferred.
