The Business Designer translates design capability into partner business, operating at the intersection of service design and business strategy. This role suits professionals with experience from design, management, or cross-disciplinary backgrounds who have deeply engaged in design processes—user research, service blueprinting, journey mapping, or concept prototyping—and are transitioning toward business proposals.

You will focus on proposing and connecting Asus external partners e.g., research insights, prototypes, and concepts partnering assets into business proposals ready for executive decision-making, and on designing collaboration structures that combines to realize opportunities no single unit could capture alone. Your responsibility for each business partnership concludes at the decision point. Design thinking remains basic working language and key experiences to make proposals tangible, and you translate fluently between design insights and business rationale in both directions.

Key responsibilities include building partner relationship with clear value propositions and preliminary commercial logic, designing partnership structures with defined roles and value distribution, and continuously exploring vertical domains beyond. The Business Designer ensures that design-driven opportunities enter executive discussion in a form that is credible, decision-ready, and structurally imaginative.

Essential Requirements
• 3+ years of professional experience, from one of the following backgrounds: Design: service design, interaction design, design research, or design consulting service.
• Deep engagement in design processes is required: hands-on involvement in user research, service blueprinting, customer journey mapping, or concept prototyping, with the ability to articulate one's role and judgment within those processes.
• Foundational business proposal capability: able to independently develop value proposition statements, target market definitions, and preliminary revenue and cost logic
• Project experience across at least two distinct industries or business domains. Working Portfolio will be a plus.

Experience & Background
• Research and define partner strategy for product segments in vertical domains which based on design requirements.
• Business skill in translate customer needs to clear service map, including customer journey map, jobs-to-be-done (JTBD) insights and specification requirements.
• Familiar with prototype tools, including Figma or related, to build trustworthy proposal.
• Develop creative and innovative design solutions.
