Business Developer Executive
Job Summary
Drive business growth by identifying and securing strategic B2B partnerships with interior design and related firms. Develop partnership strategies, manage accounts, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and onboard Interior Design firms, renovation companies, architects, developers, and other strategic B2B partners to expand the company’s network
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to establish and sustain long-term business partnerships
- Conduct business presentations, showroom tours, and product demonstrations to engage prospective partners and showcase company offerings
- Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions to generate new business opportunities
- Achieve partnership acquisition and revenue targets through effective business development activities
- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor partnership models, and customer expectations to inform strategy
- Develop and propose referral programmes, incentive schemes, trade partnerships, commission structures, exclusive promotions, and bundled offerings that add value for the company and partners
- Identify new business opportunities, strategic collaborations, and commercial initiatives to grow the company’s B2B presence
- Evaluate partnership initiatives’ effectiveness and recommend improvements to increase partner engagement, referrals, and sales conversion
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned business partners, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction
- Collaborate with Management, Marketing, and Showroom teams to execute partnership campaigns and business initiatives effectively
- Monitor partnership performance, maintain an active sales pipeline, and prepare regular business development reports to track progress
- Track referral performance, analyze business outcomes, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance partnership success
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working with Interior Designers, furniture, home living, renovation, construction, architecture, or related industries is highly preferred
- Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and build long-term client relationships
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop practical partnership strategies and business proposals
- Excellent networking, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Self-driven, resourceful, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, networking events, and business development activities
