Business Development, APAC
You will lead business development across APAC hub markets, define regional priorities, and execute in-market engagement. You will build and close partnerships, manage institutional relationships, coordinate with centralized functions, maintain pipeline data, represent the organization at regional events, and turn market intelligence into strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Define APAC business development priorities across Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, and Australia
- Lead in-market execution, including conferences, meetups, institutional meetings, roundtables, and policy introductions
- Align business development priorities with market development strategy
- Build and close partnerships with fintech companies, payment platforms, wallets, exchanges, and developer teams
- Manage institutional relationships with banks, digital asset platforms, and payment providers
- Coordinate with marketing, legal, integrations, and product functions to advance deals and integrations
- Translate APAC market intelligence into strategic recommendations and product priorities
- Maintain pipeline, integration, and relationship data in HubSpot and Airtable
- Represent the organization at regional conferences and execute owned events
- Partner on regional content and communications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of business development, partnerships, or ecosystem experience in or closely with APAC markets
- Senior relationships across APAC fintech, payments, blockchain, and institutional sectors
- Experience in blockchain, digital assets, stablecoins, or tokenization
- Knowledge of cross-border payments, Digital Public Infrastructure, and financial inclusion
- Experience leading complex partnership negotiations and closing deals
- Experience navigating APAC regulatory environments
- Ability to communicate complex technical value propositions
- Fluency in English
- APAC location and willingness to travel extensively
