Business Development & Capture Research Specialist

Join a new business startup.

The specialist will perform research-intensive front-end capture work and provide the principal with concise, decision-ready information for bid/no-bid and teaming decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with government contracting business development, capture, procurement research, or proposal development.
• Working knowledge of federal and state procurement processes.
• Understanding of service codes, socioeconomic set-asides, Sources Sought, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and government acquisition terminology.
• Ability to research historical federal awards, incumbents, agencies, competitors, and acquisition patterns.
• Ability to read a solicitation or pre-solicitation notice and identify important requirements quickly.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Ability to independently distinguish a potentially viable opportunity from a poor-fit solicitation.
