Description

Responsibilities:

  • Find 30 to 40 companies per quarter where XR or AI creates a real, specific business opportunity, not a vague technology play. Use networks, internet research, LinkedIn, events, and lateral thinking to build this list.
  • Before reaching out to any company, understand their context. What are they trying to sell, train, or communicate? Where is friction? Where is opportunity? Your opening conversation should show that you have thought about their world.
  • Approach 30 companies. If three say yes to a deeper conversation, you have done your job well. This is a quality game, not a volume game.
  • Match our portfolio to their problem. A real estate developer needs to hear about virtual flat experiences. A pharma company needs to hear about immersive medical rep training. You connect those dots, not a brochure.
  • From research to first meeting to co-building the proposal, this is a single-person job at first. No team was handed to you. No brand is doing the work for you.

What success looks like in 90 days:

  • Not revenue closed that takes longer. Success is a pipeline of 30 researched targets, 8 to 10 meaningful conversations started, 2 to 3 companies engaged in active discussion, and at least one co-created proposal in progress. If those inputs are right, revenue follows.

Requirements:

  • Six to seven years of experience in business development, consultative sales, or client partnerships, ideally from an agency, systems integrator, or consulting background where you sold custom solutions, not a fixed product with a price list.
  • You are comfortable walking into an enterprise conversation alone. You do not need a large company name behind you, a team to support you, or a finished product to demo. You sell thinking and capability.
  • You find XR and AI genuinely interesting, not because they are fashionable, but because you can see clearly where they solve real problems for real businesses.
