If so, CLEAN Workwear wants you to join our team as a Business Development Consultant!
The role is based out of our Slough site, so you will need to reside no more than 40 miles from Slough although there is some hybrid working and you will be travelling for a fair chunk of your time.
The focus of the role is to identify and secure new customers' and drive new business sales activity in core market sectors and geographies. You will need to develop an in depth understanding of your customer’s businesses, their needs and expectations and to successfully on-board commercially viable work in specific sectors or environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Target Achievement:
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual new business sales targets.
- Presentations and Proposals:
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop compelling campaigns and case studies.
- Produce polished bids and documents that win over customers.
- Innovate with customer-focused solutions that meet commercial goals.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Drive growth through cold calling, telephone outreach, and face-to-face interactions.
- Generate leads that convert into quotes and ‘in-year’ sales from multiple sources.
- Pipeline Management:
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline using the company CRM.
- Track all activity and customer progress, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Engagement:
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to deliver tailored solutions that align with our offerings.
- Collaboration:
- Work across internal functions to provide exceptional customer experience.
- Ensure customers receive the best support and service.
- Market Insights:
- Provide weekly feedback on market trends and customer information.
- Sales Strategy and Standards:
- Secure opportunities in line with Clean Workwear’s sales strategy.
- Set a benchmark for quality and efficiency in sales activities to maximize results.
Essential to this role, is that you live in London or within a commutable distance of London.
Our successful candidate will need to have proven experience in B2B sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets; if you have worked in the workwear arena, even better! Exceptional negotiation and closing skills are key to this.
You will need excellent communication and presentation skills and have the ability to build and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally and are able to understand the needs of our customers.
You will need to be proficient with CRM systems and how this can be used to assist in pipeline management.
In addition, you will be self-motivated, goal-oriented, a team player and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
In addition, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence, have proof of Right to Work in the UK and have a bank account in your name or as part of a joint account.
