JOB DESCRIPTION

The Business Development Coordinator supports CMC’s executive team in advancing business development efforts and expanding access to specialty healthcare for seniors.

This role provides hands-on coordination and administrative support, including researching prospective partners, organizing outreach, maintaining the CRM, preparing meeting materials, and supporting conferences. You’ll work closely with executives to track opportunities, coordinate next steps, and ensure consistent follow-up and follow-through.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and an excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships and supporting a busy leadership team. Success means anticipating needs, keeping details organized, and ensuring commitments and opportunities move forward.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive & Business Development Support

  • Support the executive team’s business development efforts through research, outreach coordination, scheduling, and administrative assistance.
  • Draft emails, coordinate introductions, and follow up with prospective and existing partners on behalf of leadership.
  • Maintain the CRM with accurate contact information, communication history, opportunity updates, and next steps.
  • Prepare agendas, presentations, proposals, and background materials for executive meetings and partner discussions.
  • Document meeting outcomes, track action items, and follow through with internal teams and external contacts to keep commitments on schedule.
  • Maintain visibility into open opportunities, outstanding requests, and upcoming deadlines so leadership can prioritize effectively.
  • Develop a strong understanding of CMC’s services and mission to represent the company professionally.

Conference & Event Support

  • Support planning and coordination for industry conferences, partner meetings, and business development events.
  • Manage registrations, travel arrangements, event schedules, supplies, and shipping logistics.
  • Coordinate marketing materials, promotional items, and presentations needed for conferences and meetings.
  • Help executives identify relevant contacts and schedule partner meetings before events.
  • Organize conference contacts and notes in the CRM and coordinate follow-up to help turn introductions into ongoing relationships.

Organization & Project Coordination

  • Keep business development files, contact lists, trackers, and resources organized and current.
  • Coordinate timelines and follow up with stakeholders to keep projects and business development priorities moving.
  • Identify practical ways to improve workflows, communication, and organization.
  • Use CRM platforms, AI tools, and other technology to support research, communication, and productivity.

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • 2–5 years of experience in business development support, executive or administrative assistance, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence interacting with executives and external partners.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and independently move assigned tasks forward.
  • Experience with CRM platforms or similar contact and activity tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including presentations and spreadsheets.
  • Comfort learning new technology and using AI tools to support daily work.
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
  • Healthcare, senior services, or conference coordination experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Passion for improving access to healthcare and making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors.
