Discussion

Intellias is a global digital engineering partner helping industry leaders accelerate innovation and transformation through technology.

For more than 20 years, we have worked with leading enterprises across Mobility, BFSI, Retail & CPG, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and High-Tech. Our 3,000+ professionals across 15 countries support customers across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Japan.

Mobility is one of Intellias' founding verticals and a core pillar of our growth strategy. We work with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and mobility technology companies across connected mobility, navigation and maps, embedded software, IVI/HMI, cloud platforms, ADAS, and automotive AI.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Business Development Director, Mobility to accelerate the growth of Intellias' Mobility business across North America.

This is a net-new logo acquisition role. Your primary mandate is to open and win new Automotive OEM relationships rather than inherit or manage an established book of business.

The territory is focused on North America, with particular emphasis on the US, and includes both North American headquartered companies and global OEMs and Tier-1s with significant operations, technology organizations, or decision-making presence in the US.

This is a senior individual contributor role with significant autonomy, direct executive exposure, and the opportunity to shape how Intellias grows its Mobility business in the region.

What You'll Do

  • Utilize your existing senior relationships across OEM and Tier-1 organizations, engaging CTOs, CIOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Digital, Connected Mobility, Software Platforms, Product, and other key decision-makers.
  • Own the end-to-end acquisition cycle for strategic, net-new OEM and Tier-1 accounts, from target identification and executive relationship building through opportunity creation, solution shaping, negotiation, and closure.
  • Build a strong pipeline of new-logo opportunities through executive networking, industry relationships, referrals, and targeted account development.
  • Identify client priorities and translate them into opportunities for Intellias across areas such as connected mobility, navigation and maps, embedded software, IVI/HMI, cloud platforms, ADAS, software-defined vehicles, and AI/ML.
  • Partner with presales, solution architects, delivery teams, industry experts, and executive leadership to shape compelling solutions and commercial propositions.
  • Navigate complex enterprise buying processes and maintain disciplined opportunity management, forecasting, and qualification.

Who We’re Looking For

We are open to two complementary backgrounds:

Commercial leaders

Senior sales, business development, client partner, or account leaders from technology, digital engineering, consulting, or systems integration companies with a proven track record of originating and closing new business with automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.

Automotive industry leaders

Senior technology, engineering, product, digital, or platform leaders from OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers with deep industry knowledge, strong executive relationships, and the commercial orientation to transition that expertise into a client acquisition role.

Regardless of background, you should be able to open doors, establish credibility with senior decision-makers, identify meaningful business problems, shape opportunities, and convert relationships into new business.

What You’ll Bring

  • 15+ years of relevant senior experience in automotive technology, digital engineering, consulting, enterprise sales, business development, product, engineering, or related fields.
  • A strong and current network across automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in North America and/or global organizations with significant US operations.
  • Credibility with senior technology and business stakeholders and the ability to operate effectively at executive level.
  • Meaningful experience across one or more areas of the automotive software ecosystem, such as connected mobility, navigation and maps, embedded software, IVI/HMI, cloud, ADAS, autonomous driving, software-defined vehicles, or AI/ML.
  • Understanding of how large automotive organizations prioritize technology investments, allocate budgets, and make complex purchasing decisions.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and opportunity-shaping skills, together with an entrepreneurial mindset and comfort building a market rather than executing an established playbook.
  • Understanding of, or strong interest in, the digital engineering and technology services model.
  • Willingness to travel for customer and industry engagement.

What Success Looks Like

  • Active application of executive relationships across a focused portfolio of strategic OEM and Tier-1 targets.
  • Building a qualified pipeline of net-new opportunities and converting relationships into initial engagements.
  • Developing new strategic accounts that can grow into significant, multi-year engineering relationships for Intellias.

Why Intellias

This is an opportunity to play a significant role in building Intellias' next stage of Mobility growth in North America.

You will have the autonomy to shape your territory, direct access to executive leadership and technical experts, and the opportunity to work with leading automotive organizations on high-impact software and engineering challenges.

If you combine automotive credibility, executive relationships, commercial instinct, and the ability to create new business, this is an opportunity to build something meaningful rather than manage an existing portfolio.
