Business Development Executive

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Knowledge of construction projects, tendering processes, and industry practices is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willing to travel for client meetings and site visits when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations.
  • Source and monitor construction tenders and project opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to prepare tender submissions and project proposals.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with clients.
  • Attend client meetings, networking events, and industry exhibitions.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Perform other business development duties as assigned.
