Business Development Executive (Automotive Industry)
About the Role
Sgcarmart e-Shop is expanding its Preferred Partner Workshop network and is looking for a Business Development Executive to grow our automotive parts and services business by developing B2B workshop community across Singapore. In this role, you will identify and onboard automotive service providers and car workshops, build strong relationships with business owners, and drive automotive parts purchases through our e-Shop platform. Working closely with the Program Manager, you will play a key role in expanding the partner network, increasing workshop engagement, and supporting the success of the program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting customers, building lasting relationships, and driving sales in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit & Onboard Workshops
· Identify and engage automotive service providers and car workshops to introduce the Preferred Partner Workshop program.
· Present the value of the program and guide workshops through the onboarding process.
· Support new partners in placing their first orders and becoming active users of the platform.
Account Management & Business Growth
· Build and maintain strong relationships with workshop owners to drive recurring purchases through Sgcarmart e-Shop.
· Assist workshops with enquiries, ordering issues, and reward redemption.
· Conduct regular follow-ups to keep workshops active and engaged in the program.
· Stay attuned to workshop demand patterns and aftermarket parts trends (e.g. seasonal spikes, model-specific part needs, fast-moving SKUs) to proactively recommend relevant products and promotions to workshops.
· Monitor account performance and provide regular sales and activity updates to the Program Manager.
· Support supplier promotions, marketing campaigns, and workshop engagement initiatives.
Requirements
· 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer service.
· Experience in automotive parts, automotive workshops, distributors, or aftermarket businesses is preferred
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
· Good commercial instinct for anticipating workshop demand and aftermarket parts trends, with the ability to translate that insight into proactive product recommendations and sales opportunities.
· Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
· Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts effectively.
