Business Development Executive (Construction Industry)

Job Description

  • Identify new business opportunities and potential customers
  • Develop business opportunities based on the identified key offers (solicited/unsolicited)
  • Create opportunities and collaborations with potential partners
  • Assist tender manager to manage tender processes and project development phase, work with key stakeholders (internal and external) to establish technical capabilities, cost model, legal compliance and secure the contract
  • Gather market information including change of regulations, competitors and customers’ activities development.
  • Identify new market trends, market players, technologies and latest industry development relevant to our business.


Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering or Business Development
  • Three (3) to five (5) years experience in business development in environmental sector, power sector, oil and gas sector, preferably in water sector and/or waste to energy sector
  • Proven track record in environmental projects in water sector and waste to energy sector
  • Good local customer networks in environmental industry, especially water sector and waste to energy sector
  • Good project development skills to manage a project from lead generation until end of project tender
  • Technical skills required to understand and propose solutions focusing on client requirements
  • Familiar with local environmental codes, regulations and permitting requirements
  • Well versed in using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly adaptable and enjoys working in a fast-paced organization
  • Strong work ethic and proactive
