Business Development Executive – Facility Management

Job Scope:

  1. Business Development & Sales Identify and develop new business opportunities in facility management services. Source potential clients and new projects through market research, networking, referrals, and industry contacts. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Follow up on leads and convert opportunities into successful contracts.
  2. Tender & Quotation Monitor and identify relevant tender opportunities for facility management services. Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions. Coordinate with the Operations and Management teams to obtain manpower requirements, costing, schedules, and technical information. Follow up on submitted quotations and tenders until the outcome is confirmed.
  3. Client & Site Coordination Arrange and attend client meetings, site visits, and inspections .Understand clients’ requirements and recommend suitable facility management solutions. Coordinate with clients regarding service requirements, scope of work, and commercial matters. Maintain good communication and relationships with clients throughout the sales process.
  4. Market Development Research market trends, competitors, and potential projects. Identify opportunities in areas such as cleaning, security, maintenance, M&E, landscaping, pest control, and other facility management services. Develop strategies to increase the company’s client base and revenue.
  5. Reporting & Administration Maintain records of prospects, quotations, tenders, and business opportunities. Prepare regular sales and business development reports. Track tender and quotation status and conduct timely follow-ups. Maintain proper documentation of client communications and submissions


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Facility Management, Building Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Candidates with relevant experience in a similar job scope will have an added advantage.
  • Experience in facility management, fire safety management, fire protection systems, building operations, or a related field will be an advantage.
  • Must be a SCDF-registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM).
  • Must be registered with MOM as a Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer.
