Business Development Executive (Hunter, Freight Forwarding)
The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with an established international freight forwarding and logistics provider to hire a Business Development Executive as part of its business expansion.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales hunter who enjoys acquiring new customers and selling end-to-end logistics solutions across air freight, ocean freight, warehousing, customs clearance, and value-added logistics services.
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
- Location: West Region
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
- Salary Package: Basic + Transport Allowance + Uncapped Commission + Variable Bonus
The Job:
- Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics industry
- Conduct cold calling, networking and client visits to build a strong sales pipeline
- Promote air freight, ocean freight, warehousing, customs clearance and integrated logistics solutions
- Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms with customers
- Develop tailored logistics solutions to support customers' supply chain requirements
- Achieve individual sales and gross profit targets
- Work closely with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure successful onboarding and service delivery
The Talent:
- Minimum O Levels, Diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of business development or sales experience within freight forwarding or logistics
- Proven experience acquiring new customers in a hunter sales environment
- Good understanding of air freight, ocean freight and logistics solutions
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-driven, resilient and target-oriented
