Business Development Executive (Logistics/ Freight forwarding) - West - WCDT

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to generate new sales opportunities for Contract Logistics, Warehousing, Transportation, and Freight Management services.

  • Prospect, acquire, and expand new customer accounts to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and delivering tailored logistics solutions.

  • Prepare, present, and negotiate proposals, quotations, and service agreements with prospective customers.

  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries, provide professional consultation, and follow up on sales opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless service implementation and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.

  • Provide regular sales updates, forecasts, and market intelligence to support strategic business planning.

  • Ensure timely collection of payments and compliance with agreed credit terms while maintaining strong customer relationships.


    Job Requirements:

    • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

    • Minimum 3 years of business development or hunter sales experience in the freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry.

    • Solid understanding of freight forwarding, contract logistics, warehousing, transportation, and end-to-end supply chain solutions.

    • Proven ability to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and close sales independently.

    • Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural work environment.

    • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills with a customer-focused mindset.
