BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE/MANAGER - PEST CONTROL
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, residential, healthcare, education, government, and food manufacturing sectors.
- Build strong relationships with facility managers, property managers, consultants, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
- Conduct cold calling, networking, and client visits to generate leads.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using the company's CRM system.
2. Tender & Quotation Management
- Monitor GeBIZ, procurement portals, and private tenders for new opportunities.
- Attend site inspections and tender briefings.
- Prepare accurate quotations, costing, technical proposals, and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure pricing and service methodologies are practical and competitive.
- Negotiate commercial terms and service agreements with clients.
3. Technical Consultation
- Conduct preliminary site assessments to understand pest issues.
- Recommend suitable Integrated Pest Management (IPM) solutions.
- Explain treatment methodologies, service schedules, and preventive measures to clients.
- Present value-added technologies such as smart rodent monitoring, digital reporting, and environmentally friendly pest management solutions.
4. Client Relationship Management
- Manage existing customer accounts.
- Conduct regular business review meetings.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and service escalations.
- Identify opportunities for contract renewals, upselling, and cross-selling.
5. Project Handover
- Coordinate project commencement with the Operations Team.
- Ensure all contractual requirements are communicated clearly before service commencement.
- Participate in project kick-off meetings with clients where necessary.
6. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities and pricing trends.
- Keep abreast of changes in NEA regulations, food safety requirements, and industry best practices.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and recommend new service offerings.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales records and customer information.
- Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
- Ensure all proposals and contracts are properly documented.
8. Compliance
- Ensure proposals comply with NEA licensing requirements and relevant legislation.
- Promote Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles.
- Ensure chemicals and treatment recommendations comply with Singapore regulations and client specifications.
