Business Development Executive

Job Summary

At Rentalworks, you will drive sales conversion and customer engagement through outbound and inbound communications, manage customer data and orders accurately, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sustainable technology lifecycle management projects.

Responsibilities

• Convert sales opportunities from existing customers and new leads to achieve business growth
• Conduct outbound B2B calls to promote Rentalworks’ solutions and products effectively
• Respond promptly to incoming phone calls and emails, assisting clients with inquiries about company products and services
• Maintain and update the customer database to ensure accurate client information
• Report operational or client issues promptly to the relevant Supervisor for resolution
• Process customer orders with complete and accurate documentation to support smooth transactions
• Collaborate closely with Operations and Tech Support teams to coordinate project execution and account management
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned to support team objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma holder or higher educational qualification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
• Experience in leasing, event management, or IT sales is advantageous
• Strong phone communication skills with active listening to understand client needs
• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt and respond to diverse client personalities
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders
• Flexibility and comfort working in a fast-paced office environment
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
