Business Development Executive
The Business Development Executive/Manager will be responsible for driving the Group’s revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s market footprint. This is a target-driven role requiring a proactive and results-oriented professional with a strong commercial mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in line with the Group’s strategic objectives.
- Support in the design and execution of business development initiatives, market entry strategies, and revenue expansion projects.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
- Develop and deliver compelling business presentations, proposals, and pitches.
- Manage and grow client accounts while ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Source, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships that drive business growth.
- Represent the Group at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Drive business deals from prospecting to closure, ensuring revenue targets are achieved.
- Prepare regular business reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management.
- Support the Head of Business Development in executing departmental goals and contributing to overall Group performance.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of financial services, investment products, and market dynamics.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively engage clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to influence decision-making, negotiate favorable terms, and close deals.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze market data and business trends.
- Proven ability to build long-term partnerships and client networks.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to deliver against set targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (CIM, CFA, etc.) is an added advantage.
- 3–5 years proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the financial services, investment, or consulting industry.
