Business Development Intern
About us
GTG Studios builds gamified engagement experiences for live events. Our platform turns a physical event, eg. a festival, a roadshow, a fair, an attraction, into a quest: attendees check in at booths and activities, complete challenges, unlock rewards, and leave with a record of what they actually did.
The role
What you'll do:
- Prospecting. Build target lists of event organisers, government agencies, tourism and attraction operators, malls, brands, and universities running large-scale public activations.
- Outbound. Draft and send cold emails and messages to prospective partners.
- Pipeline. Keeping our CRM clean and current. Track leads, follow-up, and next steps.
- General Admin. Take notes, write up follow-ups, chase action items.
- Market intel. Attend competitor and adjacent events as an attendee, and document how their engagement mechanics work.
- On-ground. Support live event deployments and watch how real attendees use our product.
Who we're looking for
- Based in Singapore, currently studying in polytechnic or university
- You can write clear, short, human emails
- Self-directed.
- Genuine interest in events, community, or youth culture, enough that you have opinions about what makes an activation good or bad.
Nice to have (not required):
- Experience running events eg. student org, hall committee, orientation, RAG, freshman camp, a school festival.
- Any prior sales, fundraising, sponsorship, or agency-side experience.
- Comfort with spreadsheets beyond the basics.
- Familiarity with a CRM (Notion).
- Existing network in the Singapore events, agency, or public sector space.
What you'll get
- Direct mentorship from the founding team, with real ownership of a function instead of admin overflow.
- Full visibility into how a startup closes B2B deals, from cold email to signed contract to delivered event.
- Access to our live events, where you can see thousands of people use something you helped sell.
