Business Development Intern (Remote)
NewBe an early applicantPosition Overview: As a Part-Time (10 hrs/Week) Remote Business Development Intern at Peril Mavens you will play a key role in driving our growth by generating new business opportunities. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development within the safety and risk consulting industry while working remotely and flexibly.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries for business development initiatives.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to reach new clients and expand our market presence.
- Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, and networking to establish initial contact with prospects.
- Collaborate with the ops team to qualify leads and schedule meetings or presentations with prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and sales activities using CRM software.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, presentations, and proposals to support business development efforts.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to optimize our approach.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a remote work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience using CRM software preferred.
- Knowledge or interest in safety and risk management concepts is a plus but not required.
Duration and Schedule: This is a part-time (10hrs/week) internship position, with flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule or other commitments. The duration of the internship will be 3 months with the possibility of extension or transition to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
