Business Development Intern (Remote)

Position Overview: As a Part-Time (10 hrs/Week) Remote Business Development Intern at Peril Mavens you will play a key role in driving our growth by generating new business opportunities. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development within the safety and risk consulting industry while working remotely and flexibly.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries for business development initiatives.
2. Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to reach new clients and expand our market presence.
3. Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, and networking to establish initial contact with prospects.
4. Collaborate with the ops team to qualify leads and schedule meetings or presentations with prospective clients.
5. Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and sales activities using CRM software.
6. Assist in the creation of marketing materials, presentations, and proposals to support business development efforts.
7. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to optimize our approach.

Qualifications:

1. Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
3. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a remote work environment.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience using CRM software preferred.
6. Knowledge or interest in safety and risk management concepts is a plus but not required.

Duration and Schedule: This is a part-time (10hrs/week) internship position, with flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule or other commitments. The duration of the internship will be 3 months with the possibility of extension or transition to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
