Job Summary
This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships, and supporting commercial strategies—particularly for Grow-related initiatives. You will play a key role in connecting internal teams and external partners to bring opportunities from concept to execution.
Responsibilities
- Identify new clients, partners, and collaboration opportunities to drive growth for Grow initiatives
- Analyze company services, target markets, and positioning to inform business development strategies
- Translate market insights into actionable business opportunities that support commercial goals
- Conduct market research across Southeast Asia, Australia, and India to identify IT and cloud business opportunities
- Support client engagement by coordinating partner sourcing and developing proposals aligned with business objectives
- Evaluate and advance new business ideas through structured assessment and stakeholder input
- Facilitate clear communication and alignment between internal teams, group companies, and external partners to ensure efficient opportunity progression
- Assist with market analysis, competitor research, and business planning to identify growth areas and potential partnerships
- Prepare presentations and insights that support management decision-making and strategic planning
Required competencies and certifications
- English and Japanese language proficiency (for internal and external communication)
- 5–10 years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, strategy, or similar roles
- Background in IT, cloud services, or related B2B technology sectors such as system integration, digital transformation, cybersecurity, or data/AI
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS; familiarity with Azure, GCP, or hybrid cloud environments is advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners
