Based in Pittsburgh, you will build and deepen client relationships, identify high-value opportunities, and help position our firm as a trusted partner in delivering high-performance, sustainable, and human-centered buildings.
This role is ideal for a professional who is motivated to grow relationships that lead to impactful building projects.
LOCATION & HOURS:
Based out of the Pittsburgh office and will require travel to special events. Work hours will include a combination of standard office hours and client-related events, which may occur during both daytime and evening hours.

- Build and expand our client network across Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania to drive targeted revenue growth
- Develop and execute business development strategies in collaboration with Firm Leadership
- Contribute to annual sales planning, including goal setting and budgeting in alignment with strategic objectives
- Generate and qualify new project leads through networking, industry events, market research, and relationship building
- Partner with marketing and technical teams to develop compelling qualifications packages, proposals, and presentations
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, including pre- and post-event planning and follow-up
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activity within the CRM system
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and key metrics
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support business development and firm growth initiatives
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 5–10 years of experience in business development or sales within the AEC/building industry, including exposure to public and/or private sector clients
- Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining client relationships, including engagement with senior leadership and decision-makers
- Experience contributing to qualifications packages, proposals, and interview presentations
- Strong communication skills, including active listening, and clear oral and written presentation abilities
- Proven organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Commitment to collaboration and active participation in the firm's culture and values
