BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive business growth and expand our client base within the construction industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong industry knowledge, particularly in steel structure construction and plumbing works, with proven experience in identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and securing projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Singapore's construction industry.
- Strong experience in steel structure construction and plumbing projects.
- Good understanding of local construction regulations, industry practices, and project tendering processes.
- Established network with developers, consultants, main contractors, and industry stakeholders in Singapore.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to prepare business proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Class 4 License(preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and government agencies.
- Attend site meetings, client briefings, and industry networking event.
- Support smooth handover from tender stage to project execution.
- Ensure client requirements are properly communicated to internal teams.
- Track construction market trends, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks.
- Provide insights to support business expansion strategy.
- Prepare business development reports for management review.
- Prepare and submit tenders, quotations, and business proposals.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with clients.
