Business Development Manager – F&B Corporate Accounts and Digital Sales
We're seeking a Business Development Manager to develop corporate food-service accounts, improve digital sales performance and implement revenue-growth programmes across the company’s restaurant operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for independently managing the business-development function and converting commercial opportunities into measurable sales.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute business-development plans for corporate meals, catering, group orders, events and recurring food-service accounts.
Prospect for new customers through structured field outreach, direct marketing, referrals, digital enquiries and commercial partnerships.
Prepare sales proposals, quotations, service arrangements and account-development plans based on customer requirements and the company’s operational capacity.
Manage relationships with corporate customers from initial enquiry through onboarding, order coordination, service review and account renewal.
Monitor and improve the company’s online food-ordering and digital sales channels, including menu presentation, promotions, conversion performance, customer feedback and campaign results.
Analyse sales, customer, product and channel data using spreadsheets and operational reports; identify revenue opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
Develop pricing and promotional recommendations while considering food cost, delivery charges, discounts, margins and outlet capacity.
Coordinate with restaurant operations, kitchen personnel and management to ensure that confirmed corporate and online orders can be fulfilled accurately and profitably.
Maintain an organised prospect and customer pipeline, follow-up schedule, quotation register and monthly sales-performance report.
Investigate customer concerns relating to commercial accounts and coordinate practical service-recovery measures.
Conduct market and competitor research covering food concepts, customer demand, pricing, delivery platforms and corporate dining opportunities.
Represent the company professionally during customer meetings, site visits, promotional activities and business-development events.
Meet agreed revenue, customer-acquisition, account-retention and campaign-performance targets.
Perform other related business-development and digital-sales duties reasonably assigned by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised institution.
At least two years of directly relevant experience in restaurant, catering or food-service sales, business development, account acquisition or sales canvassing.
Demonstrated ability to prospect for customers, present a commercial proposal, follow up on leads and convert opportunities into confirmed business.
Ability to manage both field-based customer development and digital food-sales channels.
Ability to prepare quotations, maintain sales records and produce clear performance reports using Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet software.
Good written and spoken English for preparing proposals, communicating with corporate customers and reporting to management.
Commercial understanding of pricing, discounts, food-service margins and customer-retention considerations.
Ability to coordinate effectively with outlet, kitchen and management personnel.
Willingness to travel between company-operated locations and customer premises within Singapore.
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and remain accountable for measurable commercial targets.
Preferred Requirements
Experience dealing with corporate food orders, catering enquiries, recurring meal arrangements or restaurant partnerships.
Familiarity with online food-ordering platforms, digital promotions or restaurant e-commerce operations.
Experience maintaining a sales pipeline, customer database or CRM-style tracking system.
Knowledge of Singapore’s restaurant, corporate-dining or food-delivery environment.
