The Apple Pay and Wallet team is looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in digital identity to join us in the journey of replacing the Wallet. You will work closely with product, engineering, business operations, and others internal teams, as well as external partners, to bring great experiences to life.
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in developing collaborative and impactful relationships with a diverse portfolio of partners relevant to delivering digital identity solutions in Apple Wallet.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years in technology innovation experience managing complex partner relationships, with senior stakeholders
- Experience working with public sector on sophisticated technology implementations
- Contract negotiation experience, ideally involving the public sector
- Demonstrated strong communication interpersonal, teamwork/collaboration, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of the digital identity ecosystem, relevant to Apple’s first party payment products
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in managing complex partner relationships, ideally involving the public sector facing technology implementations
- 5+ years experience in digital identity
- Significant contract management experience, acting as the business lead and dealing with complicated negotiations
- Experience driving scale through partnerships
- Knowledge of identity verification and assurance levels
- Proficiency with Apple products and applications
- English and French proficiency a plus
