Business Development Manager


The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving company growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new property listings and client partnerships. This is a high-impact sales role that involves active prospecting, deal negotiation, and closing agreements with landowners and clients. The role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual who can convert opportunities into signed deals and long-term business relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research and field visits to identify and secure new properties for the company to market and sell.
  • Prospect and engage with landowners/ tenants nationwide through networking, cold calling, advertising, and active site scouting.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform and refine business and sales strategies.
  • Actively pursue new business leads and close deals, demonstrating strong negotiation skills and a sales-driven mindset.
  • Present and promote the company's services to potential property owners, and occupiers highlighting value propositions and competitive advantages.
  • Lead the full sales cycle—from initial contact and presentation to negotiation and closing—ensuring successful deal execution.
  • Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with clients and property owners to support repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Brokerage team to implement targeted growth strategies and meet business development goals.\
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to generate leads and build brand visibility.
  • Establish and maintain a strong network of industry partners and stakeholders to support business expansion efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or leasing within or outside the commercial real estate industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills, with the ability to structure complex real estate transactions.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills with property owners, developers, and corporate clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and property visits.
