BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Job Description

Responsible for developing new business opportunities for the company's inbound travel and tourism services, including overseas travel-agent partnerships, corporate accounts and tourism-related collaborations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies.
  • Identify new inbound tourism markets and customer segments.
  • Establish relationships with overseas travel agencies and tour operators.
  • Develop corporate travel and group-tour accounts.
  • Prepare business proposals and presentations.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with customers and partners.
  • Identify opportunities for new travel packages and services.
  • Conduct competitor and tourism-market analysis.
  • Work with operations teams to develop commercially viable itineraries.
  • Maintain relationships with key business accounts.
  • Track sales pipelines, conversion rates and business performance.
  • Report business-development results to management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality or related discipline.
  • Preferably 3–5 years' experience in business development, tourism or travel.
  • Strong B2B sales and negotiation capabilities.
  • Good presentation and relationship-management skills.
  • Knowledge of inbound tourism markets is advantageous.
