Business development manager( Security services)
The Business Development Manager will drive sustainable revenue growth for a Singapore-based security guard agency by acquiring new clients, securing profitable contracts, and strengthening long-term commercial relationships. The role will target opportunities across commercial properties, condominiums, industrial facilities, retail, logistics, healthcare, education, events, and government-related projects. Security related experience working with an agency in Singapore is an advantage for this application.
The manager will oversee the complete business-development cycle, including prospecting, client consultations, site surveys, security-needs assessments, manpower planning, costing, proposal preparation, tender submissions, negotiations, and contract closure. Working closely with operations, recruitment, training, finance, human resources, and senior management, the manager will ensure that every proposed security solution is compliant, operationally achievable, competitively priced, and commercially sustainable. Knowledge in finance, budget and HR will be an added advantage
A key part of the role is building relationships with property owners, managing agents, facilities managers, procurement teams, developers, and event organizers. The manager will also grow existing accounts through renewals, service expansion, cross-selling, and the introduction of technology-enabled solutions such as remote surveillance, video analytics, access control, mobile patrols, and incident-management systems. Sound knowledge in local culture and tradition will be well prefered.
Success will be measured by new contract value, recurring revenue, profitability, qualified pipeline, tender win rate, sales conversion, client retention, forecast accuracy, and quality of contract handovers. The ideal candidate will have relevant B2B business-development experience, a sound understanding of Singapore's security-services environment, strong tender and negotiation capabilities, commercial awareness, and high professional integrity.
