Business Development Manager (Spain)

You'll build and own Vivid's partnerships acquisition channel in your market, working with accountants, bookkeepers, tax advisors, and invoicing/accounting-software providers. You'll identify, scope, pitch, negotiate, and close referral and integration partnerships that drive business-account sign-ups, product adoption, and revenue. You'll develop a go-to-market strategy tailored to your market's accounting ecosystem and set acquisition targets to match. You'll work with Product to shape and prioritise integrations that make Vivid the natural recommendation for advisors and their clients. You'll manage the full partner lifecycle, from sourcing and onboarding to enablement and ongoing account management, while maintaining senior relationships with partner firms and platforms. You'll run performance analyses on partner-driven acquisition to maximise impact and prove what scales, and represent Vivid at industry events, associations, and trade bodies. You'll collaborate with internal teams globally to launch partnerships cleanly and compliantly.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own Vivid's partnerships acquisition channel with accountants, bookkeepers, tax advisors, and accounting-software providers
  • Identify, scope, pitch, negotiate, and close referral and integration partnerships
  • Develop a go-to-market strategy tailored to the market's accounting ecosystem and set acquisition targets
  • Work with Product to shape and prioritise integrations such as DATEV, Sevdesk, and local equivalents
  • Manage the full partner lifecycle including sourcing, onboarding, enablement, and account management
  • Maintain senior relationships with partner firms and platforms
  • Run performance analyses on partner-driven acquisition covering volume, conversion, CAC, and retention
  • Represent Vivid at industry events, associations, and trade bodies
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to launch partnerships

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, channel sales, or relationship management
  • A track record of negotiating and closing commercial deals with third-party companies
  • Native or fluent command of the market's language, plus strong working English
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills across all seniority levels
  • Analytical thinking and familiarity with data tools like Google Sheets, Slides, and Excel
  • Comfort using AI to sharpen output
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, B2B SaaS, or payments (nice to have)
  • An existing network among accountants, tax advisors, bookkeepers, or accounting-software vendors (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with local accounting and invoicing software ecosystems such as DATEV, Sevdesk, Lexware (nice to have)
  • Experience launching referral, affiliate, or channel-partner programmes (nice to have)
