Outreach Representative – Substance Use Treatment

About the Role

Principles Recovery Center is seeking an experienced Outreach Representative to grow trusted referral partnerships throughout Palm Beach County and northern Broward. You will connect hospitals, detox programs, treatment providers, therapists, and community partners with PRC’s adult substance use and co-occurring mental health services.

This role is ideal for someone who already understands the local treatment community, has an established professional network, and believes relationships can create meaningful pathways into recovery.

What You’ll Do

• Build and strengthen referral relationships across Palm Beach County and northern Broward
• Visit hospitals, detox facilities, treatment programs, therapists, and community organizations
• Educate partners on PRC’s adult PHP and IOP programming and admissions process
• Identify appropriate referral opportunities and support smooth connections into care
• Collaborate closely with Admissions to ensure responsive communication and follow-through
• Represent PRC at provider meetings, professional events, health fairs, and networking opportunities
• Maintain accurate, same-day CRM documentation of outreach activity and referral progress
• Develop monthly territory plans and contribute to quarterly growth strategies
• Monitor referral trends, community needs, and changes within the local treatment landscape

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 2+ years of business development or outreach experience with a substance use treatment provider
• Familiarity with the Palm Beach and northern Broward treatment community
• Active professional relationships with behavioral health providers and referral partners
• Ability to build trust and communicate credibly with clinical and community partners
• Strong follow-through, organization, and time management in an autonomous field-based role
• Residence within or near the assigned territory
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a Level 2 background screening

Preferred

• Substance use treatment admissions or referral coordination experience
• CRM experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, or a similar platform
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
