Ryan Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Proposal Specialist to support the company's continued growth within both federal and commercial contracting marketplace. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing RFQs and small-scale RFP responses, ensuring compliant, quality proposal submissions while collaborating across internal teams, subcontractors, and proposal partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deadlines, and possesses strong written communication and project coordination skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage RFQ and small-scale RFP proposal efforts from kickoff through submission.
- Develop proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and writing assignments.
- Analyze solicitations to identify requirements, evaluation criteria, compliance risks, and submission deadlines.
- Coordinate with Business Development, proposal support vendors, subcontractors, and teaming partners throughout the proposal lifecycle.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Contracts teams to obtain pricing, key personnel information, and corporate qualifications.
- Prepare technical proposal responses that comply with solicitation instructions, formatting requirements, and federal procurement regulations.
- Coordinate and facilitate proposal color team reviews.
- Draft and edit executive summaries, technical narratives, management approaches, past performance writeups, and resumes.
- Conduct research to gather past performance information, graphics, industry data, and supporting content for proposals.
- Maintain proposal templates, boilerplate content, capability statements, and proposal libraries.
- Support development of proposal graphics, win themes, and discriminators.
- Manage document control, versioning, and secure file sharing.
- Track proposal metrics, success rates, lessons learned, proposal status, deadlines, and historical outcomes through a centralized tracking system.
