THE OPPORTUNITY:
This isn't your standard Business Development Representative position. ER2 is looking for a driven and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to help fuel our growth by identifying and engaging new business opportunities. This role is critical to building our sales pipeline and introducing organizations to ER2’s secure, sustainable IT lifecycle solutions.
You’ll be the first point of contact with prospective customers—educating them on risks around data security, compliance, and improper IT asset disposal, while positioning ER2 as a trusted partner.

POSITION DETAILS:
- Reports to: Senior Vice President, Client Solutions
- Compensation Structure: $55K/Yearly Base + Quarterly Bonuses - $90K OTE
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with additional hours as business needs require.
- Location: Mesa, Arizona

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and identify key decision-makers (IT, IS, Procurement, Compliance, Supply Chain)
- Schedule meetings and hand off qualified opportunities to our National Account Directors.
- Research target accounts and personalize outreach based on ITAM challenges
- Communicate ER2’s value around:
- Data destruction & security
- Regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
- ESG & sustainability initiatives
- Cost recovery from retired assets
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity in CRM (Pipedrive)
- Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership on campaigns and messaging
- Consistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and quota targets
THE VITALS:
Required
- Understanding of Sales / Marketing / IT / Healthcare
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated, competitive, and results-driven
- Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical and compliance-related concepts
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound prospecting
- 4-year degree
Preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or sales role
- Experience in ITAD, ITAM, cybersecurity, or IT services
- Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and stakeholders
- Experience using a CRM
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The ability to stand in one place for extended periods of time without fatiguing.
- Ability to work and look at a computer screen for extended hours per day.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for consecutive hours.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- The ability to speak/read English fluently.
- Valid Drivers License
- The ability to pass a drug test
- The ability to pass a background screening with no prior convictions related to theft or cybercriminal activity.
- The ability to perform all work related duties free from any type of impairment.
